How the words are counted
Fifty words is about the size of a card blurb, a product summary or the standing text under an image. Three sentences, 319 characters, stopping on a full stop rather than in the middle of a clause.
The count is worth being precise about, because "word" has more than one definition. What is counted here is whitespace-delimited tokens — anything with a space on either side of it. Punctuation travels with whatever it is attached to, so "aliqua." counts once, not twice. That is the same rule a word processor uses and the same rule behind most content-editor counters, so a paste here and a count there should agree.
Where two counters disagree it is almost always hyphens, since some split a hyphenated compound into two. There is not a single hyphen in this passage, which removes that question before it comes up.
